Richland HS Valedictorian Display Board Project

Diane Call is pictured at left with one of several panels that will make up the Richland High School Valedictorian Display. The display honors past valedictorians from 1944 to present and is expected to be mounted along the hallway of the school's main entrance this week. Congratulations and thanks to Diane for doing the research and making this tribute happen. Another successful Bomber Booster project! [October 7, 2008]

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT RICHLAND HIGH STUDENTS?

The Boosters need student and parent volunteers to help with concession sales at the various RHS athletic events year round. This is our greatest fund raising activity and these funds get returned to needy RHS clubs, families, etc. It is a great way to support your RHS community. 2007 Bomber Boosters Support Areas:
  • Managing concession sales at RHS sporting events to create funding support for school activities
  • The baseball team’s trip to the state playoffs and purchasing of state championship banners
  • The Jazz Choir’s trip to attend the College Jazz Festival
  • The Drama Club’s trip to the Washington state competition
  • Provide volunteer help for school grounds clean up activities
  • Maintenance of the "RHS Wall of Fame" at the school gym
  • Development of the "RHS Valedictorians" display
  • RHS Student Scholarships for college

The Boosters are needs of a meeting scribe to take and publish meeting minutes. If interested, please contact our president, Gary Dunford.

SPECIAL PROJECTS:
New Baseball Concession Stand Planned
The Boosters continue to work with the Richland School District, City of Richland, and volunteers to design and build a new concession stand on the football stadium grounds. A special thanks to Kim Oates who persuaded the school district to fund the majority of the stand! The remainder is up to needed volunteers. [October 7, 2008]
